About the Initiative

See It. Say It. We Do Something.

Because a Nation That Protects Its People Protects Its Future.

See It, Say It, We Do Something is a national call to protect Nigerian children by turning awareness into action. It encourages people to recognise vulnerability, speak up when they are concerned, and ensure concerns can lead to meaningful protection and response.

Someone sees it. The question is: What happens next?

National Leadership

Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim

Honourable Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development

Launched by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as a nationwide call to protect Nigerian children, the initiative places community vigilance and collective responsibility at the heart of child protection.

The Honourable Minister has carried this mandate forward by strengthening the systems, partnerships and pathways through which concerns can be reported, referred and acted upon.

In 2026, the Year of Families and Social Development places the protection of children and strengthening of families firmly within Nigeria's national development agenda.

See

Pay attention.

Recognise signs of abuse, violence, neglect, exploitation or vulnerability.

Say

Break the silence.

Raise the concern and help give a voice to someone who may not be able to speak safely for themselves.

Do

Turn concern into protection.

Connect the concern to the appropriate people, services and institutions so action can follow.

Seeing without saying is incomplete. Saying without doing is insufficient. Doing is where protection becomes real.

From Awareness to Action

The ambition must be greater than awareness.

  1. See
  2. Say
  3. Assess
  4. Route
  5. Respond
  6. Protect

The Child Protection Reporting & Response Platform demonstrates the technology pathway through which a concern can move from reporting to assessment, referral, coordinated response and safe status tracking.

Every concern should have somewhere to go.

Every report should have a pathway to response.
